Honey Bees: We sell Honey Bees in the springtime, usually around the end of April through May. Before tackling the art of beekeeping, it’s a good idea to visit with a Beekeeper, join the local SisQ Bee Club, and do some research. When you’re ready with your woodenware and protective gear, we have a limited supply of our local bees and will be happy to work with you on your new adventure.
A loaned Nuc starter box, which includes 5 lbs. of bees with a queen and food resources, will cost $165.00.
Honey: Local honey is truly a gift. Our wildflower, Pacific Northwest honey, is worth its weight in gold. Our Honey Bees travel a 3-mile radius to gather pollen from native plants, trees, and shrubs and also enjoy our gardens, which are full of lavender, herbs, vegetable plants, and a host of other pollinators that the bees love. Our honey is available around mid-July through December. It’s a seasonal crop, and due to its popularity, we sell out by the end of each year.
